Visual Identity
Ocean City Cycles was a branding project in response to the D&AD’s ‘VBAT Superunion’ brief; to brand a city bike hire scheme that also promoted the city. Looking at Plymouth as the focal city, I explored Plymouth’s marine history in order to help establish a relevant thematic language. This then placed the idea of navigation at the core, using this as a visual langauge across touchpoints. The brand aims to reduce city congestion by encouraging bike transport for both social and environmental benefits.
